Savoy Chan

Savoy joins KidStart as a Behaviour Consultant with a Master of Special Education from the University of British Columbia and over four years of experience in the field. Having practised in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario, Savoy brings a unique coast-to-coast perspective to the clinical team, including specialised experience in urgent response and caregiver coaching during behavioural crises.

The name Savoy translates to "fir forest," a meaning that deeply informs his clinical philosophy. Just as a forest provides a stable ecosystem for growth, Savoy believes in cultivating a supportive environment where children and families can thrive at their own pace.

Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, Savoy is excited to return home to BC and contribute to the KidStart community through collaborative, relationship-based care.
