Occupational Therapist

Leo is a driven occupational therapist with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. He works across two private clinics in the Lower Mainland, delivering neuro-affirming, strengths-based, client-centered care.

His clinical training at a school for children with disabilities strengthened his expertise in school-based OT, where he developed individualized treatment plans and interventions targeting sensory integration, fine motor skills, and executive functioning. Leo emphasizes collaboration with families, therapists, and support staff to create effective, evidence-based programs that help clients reach their developmental goals.

In addition, Leo has experience as a behavioural interventionist, respite provider, and youth sports coach, enriching his holistic approach to child development. He is registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of BC (COTBC) and is a Registered Autism Service Provider (RASP). Leo has completed postgraduate training in courses such as Treating Movement Challenges in Children with ASD: NDT for ASD, Treatment of Picky and Problem Eaters Using Food Chaining Therapy, CLASI Ayres Sensory Integration® Modules 1 & 2, and is a Certified DIRFloortime® Practitioner.
